Itinerary
Day 1 – Marrakech to Dades Valley
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before visiting the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Continue through Ouarzazate and the beautiful Valley of Roses before arriving in Boumalne Dades, where you’ll relax in a traditional hotel or kasbah and enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner.
Day 2 – Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, continue your journey through the picturesque Dades Valley before exploring the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically above the canyon floor. Travel through charming Berber villages and lush palm groves before reaching Merzouga. As the evening approaches, swap your vehicle for a camel and ride into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes, arriving at a traditional desert camp where a warm Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and a magical night beneath the stars await.
Day 3 – Merzouga to Marrakech
Wake before dawn to witness one of the Sahara’s most unforgettable moments—a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a refreshing shower in Merzouga, begin your scenic return journey through the beautiful Draa Valley and the High Atlas Mountains.
